Santa???
I can't decide whether to be pleased that my son and his friend dressed up and went to a daycare as Santa and his elf or............
or terrified..................... I'm having a hard time taking my son seriously while he is wearing gold colored tights that are way too small so the crotch sits at about his knees...................
I'm afraid this trio gave the daycare children nightmares instead of children all nestled all snug in their beds....... while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads...........

That Santa looks really BIG!
ReplyDeleteWas the dog (is her name Lucy? Why can't I remember her name?0? barking or just wagging?
Those kids will never think of elves the same way again!
That Santa IS really big. Over six feet tall this one....... Mr. B's best friend of several years. Only he would be able to talk Mr. B into doing something like this.
DeleteJulie. :) Julie is Levi's dog's name. She's wagging her tail because Levi is right there which you can't see pictured.......
Julie! Don't you love it when the men-childs do swell things like this to bring joy?...or terror!
DeleteI do. I'm very proud of my Mr. B. He is a good boy and is growing up to be an amazing young man.
DeleteI can remember in elementary my momma putting hideous tights on me and half the time the crotch was down to my knees....... Shudder.
ReplyDelete...oh my...
ReplyDeleteWell I think they look absolutely charming. Just exactly the right kind of big-hearted Christmas cheer that's needed. I'll bet the daycare was full of happy chattering that day!
ReplyDeleteAnd I commiserate with your son too - that tights too-short crotch thing is annoying as all get out.
They did make several little ones quite happy that day.
DeleteOh the days when my tights hung too low....... painful.
Since day care was my livelihood, I can know that a good many little ones are terrified of Santas especially when they don't have their moms close at hand. (I think your kids are the fearless breed.)
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I would guess the kids LOVED the elf in gold tights!
This Santa stands well over six feet tall so I am sure the little ones were a bit intimidated. The boys didn't tell me. I was too busy laughing at Mr. Gold i pants I forgot to ask!
