Baby Knits

My baby sis is about to have a baby!!  I'm so excited for her.  She and her husband have opted to wait until the baby is born to find out if it is a girl or a boy.

Pattern for baby booties from 60 Quick Baby Knits
I think she should have a girl...........

  1. I think she should too. Your baby sis would do about anything for a good pair of shoes.

  2. Those are the cutest little things and a girl it should be because your sweet girl needs some girl cousins since she has all those rowdy brothers...
    Right? Of course, right!

    1. I love knitting baby things. They are so much cuter than big people stuff. :)

Yes, Henny Penny does need more girl cousins. I just need my baby sis to move closer to me! Too many hours and states in between us.

RIGHT! Of course you are right. ;)

  4. LOL! These are a size 4 needle. :) For our big ol' feet a size 10.5 might work. ;)

  5. If she has any decency at all, she'll pop a girl - just because you wanna make those a-dorable little shoes. Or you did make them already. I can't tell because I'm falling asleep.

  6. The blue flower turned out to be a good color match. Love the buttons! Where did you find those?

  8. yes, like Kristen says I'm sure she'll do the right thing and produce a sweet little girl and you can pop those adorable little booties straight on. They don't come in my size do they? I quite fancy dancing round the house in a pair of those. Have a lovely Easter Rachel xxx

    1. I'm doing everything I can possibly do to will my sis to have a girl..... I keep knitting baby girl stuff. I don't know what more I can do! The least my sister could do is oblige me and pop out a girl.

I'm thinking for those of us who are in the walking phase of our lives we'd need to put some sort of skid stuff on the bottoms of these slippers else we'll be doing more slippin' than walkin' but then maybe that would make the dancing all that more interesting!

Happy Easter to you too Julie. I am wishing and willing and praying that your day is filled with peace and tranquility. xxoo
