Something Is Missing

This has got to be one of my most favorite stages a child goes through.  Those two front teeth missing.  So darling.  So adorable.  So lispy.

The ability to stick objects between your teeth, and the ability to spit lovely liquids between your teeth.

I still stand on my opinion that who ever came up with the idea of the Tooth Fairy is nuts though.  No amount of adorability is going to change my opinion on that...........

  1. YOu know when the tooth is just dangling from a tiny piece of skin? The kid is all about flipping it all around? But NO pulling it out! Once upon a time I had an aide who was the tooth fairy. We would send the kid over to 'show' her how cool the tooth was and she would say, "which one? " as she put her fingers on it and then quick as that she would hold it out and say, "you mean this one?" It was amazing! Then we put it in the little tooth necklace to go home.

    1. I can't stand it! I can't stand seeing a loose tooth and not pulling it. The Natives are terrified of loose teeth because it means mom (me) will tackle them and yank it out! I love pulling loose teeth!!!!!

My poor grand kids are going to be scared to death of me. They'll agree with their parents. The stories are true! She IS an evil witch! :D

    1. I'm okay with other cutesy childhood magical critters like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny but the Tooth Fairy??? That is just another form of torture for parents!

I wish they didn't grow up. I'd like to keep this one this size and age all his life. He is such joy.

    1. Sniffle. This is the last I have that will go through this stage. You'll need to post photos of your little ones for me when they reach this stage.
