Advice

Some words of wisdom and advice from one who knows: When you come home from surgery and you are on this stuff......Assuming that you aren't completely cross eyed, loopy, and can actually read.......

One should not read this kind of book before going to bed.....it makes for some really trippy dreams! Dreams that are made all the more real by the hot flashes you are now experiencing.

Side note: If I ask you, "Is it really hot in here, or is it just me"?....just nod your head and say yes and pretend to fan yourself. I'm still in denile and blaming it on Lortab and crazy dreams.

  2. At least, you can read something while on those babies. If I take one all I can read is the back of my eyelids. Just think of the dreams as free entertainment...

  3. I've never taken lortab, but considering what cold medicine does for me, I'll stay clear. Oooh---but the dreams; I'd be tempted.

  5. I can be bribed to share some really interesting stories about Rachel on Lortab... Think "Stephen King".
I can also be bribed to not share them...

  6. Ginna, It is great for the pain but laws! It makes for some exciting moments.

Natalie, Not really. I can only read just as the stuff is about to wear off right before I take some more. Then I'm off in loopy land again.

Lyndee, Cold medicine, antihistamines, motion sickness pills, they all make me loopy so no surprise that Lortab does too.

    Kristen, HA! I admit nothing!

Chastina, See! I knew it was hot in here! I knew it wasn't just me! Tell that to KRISTEN!

SM, Rude. All I'm gonna say is rude and I too can be bribed not to tell the folks what the nurse caught you doing while I was out of it. ;) I'm just sayin.....or not...depending on how good you bribe me...... :D

  10. Hanna, My boys love this series. I had to read and see what all the fuss was about and have found that I enjoy it too! Yikes!

Mr. S, When does a parent have time to read? :) Have you read this series? My boys and The SM love it. I've yet to meet anybody who has read it that doesn't like it so far. It's pretty good!

Jody, LOL! Last night as I was taking my pills before bed The SM asked me if I'd hand him a notebook and pen so he could record my next shenanigans. ;)

Anaise, Thank you. I think things are going well...then again, thinking and Lortab don't quite go well together.
