Sneak Peak

Here's a sneak peak at what is materializing on my knitting needles at the present moment. I couldn't resist when I saw a little sweater hoodie in a baby size. I love hoodies so when I saw this itty bitty thing,  can you all just say, "OHHHHHH"! with me?

I think my inner desire that is having a hard time letting go of this phase in my life is coming out with my knitting and selling of baby items.............

  4. Marseille, You forget. I'm a mother of a gagillion boys. :D If it isn't easy to wash, I don't buy/make it. All of the yarn I use is washable yarn.

Korrie, Hard to believe but I know!!! I can wait for that one though.......

Kristen, Yes!! Let's do! We'll get Donna onboard too.

  6. Awwww...
Henny Penny could use it on a doll until a grandbaby shows up! Which honestly the thought of you being a grandma in just a few years is just surreal to me- life is going by way.to.fast!

  9. I HATE letting go of the baby phase of life. Really, really NOT HAPPY about it. Not at all. So, maybe I need to get knitting some itty bitty adorable baby things too. But seeing your hoodie makes me want another baby to fit into it. And love. Waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  10. Donna, Exactly! My thoughts entirely.

Nat, It is the oddest feeling. I keep trying to grab onto life and slow it down but it keeps getting wrenched out of my fingers and on it goes....... I'm not happy about it. Not. One. Bit!

Jenni, The pattern is in the same book as the cupcake hat. I posted the link on that post. When I post the finished sweater I'll post the link to the pattern. It's a cute book.

Wabi, You and me will sit here and Waaaaaaaaaaaah together and comiserate our leaving this phase behind us most grudgingly. I do have to say, knitting these baby things is quite satisfactory though.

  11. I had eight babies residing next to my office at work. I never had to regret that loss, because I could go in and grab a rocking chair and hold babies as long as I liked.

It's one of the perks of running a child care center. Now, the grandbabies are taking the front seats of the family and I have yet another outlet. Sooo, you and Wabi should either run a child care center or wait patiently for grandbabies. I'd suggest the second route.

  12. Ginger, It's that waiting patiently part...... I'm not so good at that!
