Cool New Legos!

This Native was born in the 2000's. How do I know this? Other than I am his mother, have proof of his birth, and we are now in 2010 and he's obviously not older than......ten!

The other day I hear an amazingly amount of alarming noise coming from our storage area. A noise that could only mean one thing. Somebody had gotten into the VHS tapes and dumped them.

When I later went to check on said Native (notice I didn't jump right up and assess the situation immediately.....no screaming, no blood, no problem) I saw him busy at work.

Playing with his new Legos. Obvious proof that this kid was born in the era after the VHS.......

It's funny- those are exactly what they look like. It's nice to know they are still good for something!

  3. What a smart kid! I love his wall, or bridge, or ....!

My kids will occasionally bring me a VHS and ask "Can we watch this movie?" When I tell them we have to go upstairs to where the VCR is to watch it, they loose interest. The funniest is when we actually turn one on and they have to wait for it to get to the movie, even when we fast forward. They get so impatient. What funny kids!

  4. That....is....so....COOL!!! Guess what, I still use my VHS on a regular basis. However, now not only can we use them for movie night....we can use them for game night. Add a few more polka-dots. Wait, I'm might need to google the rules...hmmmm.

  7. Chastina, The sad thing is so much stinkin' money spent on all of those dumb VHS tapes only to be replaced with so much money on DVDs which will be replaced by..... :) Can't win. Mine as well get some use out of them building walls, bridges, or what ever the heck he was building.

Lyndee, We thought it was pretty cool too. You could use white construction paper dots and sticky tape!!! :D

Kristen, He's been working on those attributes since birth.

Misty, Actually. Very cool of The SM. I was still under the influence of Lortab. :D I could have sworn the wall was bigger and double. :D

  10. I really thought they were big dominoes, at first. But then, I noticed they all had only 2 dots and looked more like....oh yeah, Videos.

Personally, I think we should ALL quit spending our money on these things. Well, maybe not ALL, cuz I need someone to borrow them from.
