He's Watching Over Us!

It's been quite the weekend!

We've had our downs

We've had our ups

We've had our downs again

And through it all, we see His protective hand. Miracles do happen. Prayers are answered. Angels walk among us.

We're all alive and okay. That is what matters.

  3. What an incredible weekend to have to go through. My mom told me about the accident and it just made me cry. I've never been in one quite that extreme, but I've been in my fair share and it's AWFUL. Por Brennen. I'm so glad everybody is ok, and I hope Colin will be 100% ok soon. Big cars are the best, they keep you safe.
What a beautiful prom dinner table! That's so fun to be able to do that, but wow, what a weekend. Sending you our love.

  4. So many questions!! I'm going to look on facebook and see if you ever sent me your phone number. Do you mind a crazy woman calling? But in case you haven't... what happened?! I am SO glad to hear that everyone is okay.

  5. Thank you everyone. Sorry I've not gone into more detail. More later. We're all alive and okay. Fog over the brain so not thinking clearly right now. The storm has passed and now we are walking out our front door so to speak assessing the damage and where to start cleaning up first. Kids are emotionally shook up, bruises, stiffness, soreness, etc. They are each reacting in their own way. Interesting to watch. Wishing my arms and lap was big enough to hold them all. Much easier now that we're home from the hospital. I'll go into more detail on all these ups and downs later this week.

  6. So Savannah is looking at blogs with me and when we got to the picture of Clifford she said, "That looks like a pretty crash." I paused and turned to her with some bewilderment. She sensed her misstep and said, "um....he he.....a pretty GOOD crash."

I'm so glad everyone is alive, that was a serious collision!

  10. Clifford didn't fare so well, did he? Poor Clifford. I'm grateful that he was such a tough and strong thing to protect his precious cargo!

  11. Wow! And Wow! again. I'm glad you're all okay. Your attitude/testimony is reassuring and inspiring.

Sometimes there are just a lot of hard things at once, aren't there?!

  12. Natalie, Brennan lookes SO handsome in his tux. You can't fool me that it is only girls that like to dress up. He had a great time and the group he was with were all great. Good good kids.

Thank you Natalie. Yes, I do know where to find you. You're wonderful!!

Misty, We can feel everyone's prayers and know that we are being blessed. I'll go into more detail on my blog as to what happened when I can. Just making sure all things are in place legally before I talk about things. It wasn't our fault in any way shape or form but just being safe.

Ginna, I've never been in a car accident so it was pretty traumatic for us all. Not something I want to ever go through again. I'm all for big cars. I told The SM yesterday that I want him to sell his car and get a big vehicle. Don't be surprised if you see us all driving dump trucks now. :)

I had a blast putting together that dinner and having the prom group show up. Can't wait to do it next year!

Gerb, Call me later today after kids are off to school and I'll fill you in. We're feeling very blessed and grateful that we are all okay. Saying lots of, "I love you" to each other.

Jody, Mr. C was able to come home and enjoy a special dinner someone ordered us ALL THE WAY FROM IL.!!! You are wonderful!! Auntie Jo!

Melissa, LOL! I think Clifford would prefer a 'handsome' crash. :D Yes, all alive and okay. Thank goodness. It could have been so much worse.

Misty, Yes, Mr. B was driving. It's going to be awhile before he feels up to getting behind the wheel again. We're all a bit touchy in the car now.

Michelle, Thank you a million times. When we know what we need and what to ask for you can bet we'll be calling. :)

I'll be honest, it was kinda my prom right? I got to feel the excitement of getting a tux (not a dress but getting a tux was fun) and buying all the froo froo for the dinner.....seeing all the couples walk up to the house in their finery....it was a blast! You were right, having the dinner here was way funner!!

Chastina, Yes, we are all doing better and we are grateful as well. It could have turned out so differently.

Tamra, No, Clifford didn't. We said our good bye's yesterday. Mr. C took his license plates as a momento. :)

Anaise, Apparently the Lord thinks we're capable of getting through this so not much more one can do but roll up our sleeves and get to work. :) Actually, it is much easier to get through something like this when everyone is alive and okay. I don't even want to imagine how it could have gone in both vehicles! Not just ours. The other vehicle no one was hurt seriously either. Such a blessing!!
