Mr. C's organ recital

Isn't this organ just beautiful?
Mr. C has been taking organ lessons for about three months now. Let me remind you before you listen to his piece that he has been only taking lessons for about three months.... A lesson every other week........ Not that I'm bragging or anything.........  I wish I could have videoed his feet moving like sixty on the foot keys/pedals (not sure what to call them).

(Also in video is his amazing organ teacher turning the pages for him.)

  4. Amazing! The organ is an amazing instrument and I don't think I really appreciated it until listening to him play.

  5. Melissa, At the very end of the recital Mr. C's teacher played for us. It was beautiful. I hadn't appreciated the organ before that either.

  8. Oh, and he had to play that piece. He hit the first three notes of it, and I knew it and started to sob. It's stupid, I know, but I sat through the whole thing - the whole thing - C himself, the pipe organ and that music - thjat music, like the breath of promise, like the hugeness of HF - and I kept trying to breathe through it, but tears are still coursing down my face. I am deeply moved.
