Look at the joy on their faces! We have one of those slidey thingies too - a rather mangled one at this point. The kids have such a blast on it. A vigorous, plastic-destroying blast. I wonder where it went to...
You know, a thick piece of black plastic works too. We laid one out on the back hill one year and turned the hose on it - it was a total hit. I even tried it a couple of times. Undignified. But isn't fun almost always slightly undignified?
That water almost got me wet! What great pictures....what great fun!
ReplyDeleteMakes ya just want to jump in with them doesn't it?
DeleteExcept I would crash right into the end and not be able to get up.

DeleteI LOVE the second-to-last picture of Levi, and the last one of the other native. Too much fun! And thanks for water those dry patches in the yard.
ReplyDeleteI know. Me too! The boys are more than happy to water the yard for you now. :)

ReplyDeleteOurs ended up in Levi's wagon and then hauled all over the neighborhood. :D
DeleteIt's amazing what results you can get from a little piece of plastic and some water!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great action shots here!
ReplyDeleteAnd you say you're not a photographer...
I'm not!!!! You of all people know I'm not! :)

ReplyDeleteThat is what we used growing up. It does work just as good/well.
DeleteHmmm. Undignified. Yes, most often it is isn't it! Good thing I don't care about always being dignified. :D
