Cookies make us good

The other day Mr. C was in the kitchen making cookies. Levi said: Mr. C, if you make me some cookies, den I will eat dem, and den I'll be good!

Since making and eating cookies makes us good, we're making it pretty close to a daily thing around here.

  3. If my kids will make me cookies, then I'll be good too. I need them to learn from your kids.

  5. Hmmm. So THAT is why I was so good last night. I was wondering - it was SO unlike me. And it only took one!

  6. Lyndee, I think Levi is a genius personally. I quite agree with his logic.

Ginna, No, not chubby dear one. Good and beautiful!

Kristen, Amazing how that works doesn't it? I had more than one so that makes me extra good right?

  7. What a smart young man! Whenever I'm feeling down I need something to help me be good. I think I'll have to implement his philosophy and see how it works. (Mainly because I want some cookies.)

  8. And that's the disappointing part of trying to give up sugar--warm cookies and cold milk! Somehow the almost-cookies I make these days just don't work the same way.

  9. Chastina, You know. I think it is very important to teach children how to cook/bake. They need practice you know! Lots of practice and I need lots of practice being good so it really is a win-win situation.

Anaise, There's the rub of it all...... oh to be young and able to eat what ever we wanted and it didn't go straight to our hips and behinds and thighs and bellies and.... sigh....... when do we earn the right to be curvy and jiggly? I look at the rennaissance paitings of women in their full figures and wonder where in the world did the world go wrong in thinking that was no longer beautiful! I bet it all started with Scarlet O'Hara!!! :D
