The Attack of the Sweater
I FINALLY finished Henny Penny's sweater. I had yarn left over so I made her a matching hat. It didn't need a hat because the sweater is a hoodie but a matching hat is cool right?
Henny Penny loves it. She thinks it is cool and wears it all of the time, well, that is......until Mr. M!!!
Mr. M told Henny Penny she looks like a tiger is attacking her. After I quit laughing I told Henny Penny not to worry. I'd knit Mr. M a zebra sweater and she could attack him!

You are so amazingly talented, Rachel! I love seeing your creations.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I want one! ;)
ReplyDeleteI tried to learn to knit...or maybe it was crochet, I don't recall...anyhoo. I stunk. Badly.
Gerb, Thank you Gerb! Just don't look close okay? ;) Then you won't think I'm so amazingly talented......
ReplyDeleteLori, I tried years ago as well and royally stunk but decided to try again and I'm not sure what the difference is this time around...lack of anything else to do I guess. It keeps me busy.
So maybe I should try, try again?
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness!! You made that?!?! THAT IS SOOO COOL!!! VERY talented! I want one!
ReplyDeleteIt turned out really well...AND I love the hat.
ReplyDeleteWhat color of tigers live in Mr. M's world??? I thought tigers were black & orange not pink, yellow and orange. Crazy brother!
Jody, Yeah. We still got 'it'! What ever 'it' is. :D
ReplyDeleteLori, YES YES YES AND YES!
Emma, Thank you!!
Natalie, You know, sometimes I don't even want to know the details of Mr. M's world. LOL!

ReplyDeleteHanna, The same way your mom made her socks!!! :D With knitting needles and time.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I love it. One of these days I may get ambitious and try a shirt or vest.
ReplyDeleteChastina, Thank you. There's a lot of cute stuff out there to make now a days. Years ago.....not so much but the yarn is way better and lots of cute stuff to choose from. Knittin' aint for the old on the front porch anymore. :)
ReplyDeleteYour so creative! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWow that sweater and hat are so adorable. I love the colors!!
ReplyDeleteCarrilyne, Thank you. It makes it fun when Henny Penny likes what I make.
ReplyDeleteGinna, Funny, we were riding up in the mountains last fall and the colors as you know up S. Fork are just blazing amazing. I saw those colors and thought, I want to make Henny Penny a sweater out of these colors so I contacted a gal on the internet and she dyed the wool for me. Pretty nice of her eh?
So yeah - that was the dyed wool. You ambitious little creature, you. Here you are, finishing things, while I am just dogpaddling in place, looking frantically for land. Fetch. (that goes with dogpaddling)
ReplyDeleteKristen, This is the sweater that was supposed to be finished by Thanksgiving. Last. Thanksgiving. :)
