We had a busy weekend what with Levi's baptism and all which....might I add....was absolutely wonderful. So much love and support from so many friends and family. Those who could come we are so grateful to you and those who weren't able to....we know your hearts were there.
This morning after getting all of The Native's off to school I went back to bed to rest for an hour. I left Mr. J downstairs with his cream of wheat.
When I got up I found this in the sink......
And this as a replacement..........I'm so proud of him!
Rofl! I'm impressed.
ReplyDeletewell, you know what they say about that apple....
ReplyDeleteHe may throw up a smoke screen of baby talk, but that kid knows what he wants and how to get it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway - what's the matter with him??? I LOVE cream of wheat. Is there real sugar in it? (she asks this wistfully, betting there's butter, too)
ReplyDeletemy security word is "pukelim." Nice. Real nice.
Lyndee, I was impressed as well! How he cut that huge chunk of cake and didn't make a mess is beyond me. I'm dang proud of him!! :)
ReplyDeleteMisty, Which is why I am so proud of him! If he'd have fallen off of The SM's tree he'd have eaten the cream of wheat! This is proof! He's mine!! Well, the good parts anyway. The crab apple parts are The SM. ;)
Kristen, In a major way!!
I won't tell you that the cream of wheat is brown sugar cream of wheat. That'll just make it worse.....
Pukelim. Perfect!
LOL!!!!! that is so hilarious!!
ReplyDeletewell, at least he has good taste!!!!
Nope...There aint nothing wrong with that child. I'm proud too, except I would've eaten both.
ReplyDeleteLOL!! That's hilarious!! That's TOTALLY what I would've done! Don't tell my mother...jk
ReplyDeleteYou have a boy after my own heart. I hate to admit it, but I make oatmeal and mush and germade and breakfast rice for my kids and when they all leave for school I break out the cake bites or peanut butter cereal. You're right - you've got a smarty pants on your hands!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I love this! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd, bty - you made my day today! ;) I am so ultra excited to do some implementing!
What a smart young man! And he didn't make a mess either, excellent! That is my kind of breakfast.
ReplyDeleteHanna, You can't go wrong with chocolate!
ReplyDeleteNatalie, I'd have eaten the germade 'if' I still had room. ;)
Emma, I think.....she knows. :)
Gerb, Oh yeah!! And after they go to bed......and any other time I feel that I need a moment to myself in the closet. :D
Corine, I'm so glad! Keep me posted!
Chastina, That whole mess thing. I'm still trying to figure it out. That piece of cake is huge that he whacked off for himself!
Hah! That's what I'd eat for breakfast every day if I didn't try to be a grownup!!
ReplyDeleteGinna, This being a grownup thing is highly overrated sometimes I think.
ReplyDeleteThat actually provoked an out loud laugh from me . . . I prefer the replacement breakfast over the one he started with, too! :)
ReplyDeleteAnaise, This is a flaming example of how I am ruining the youngest in our family. All of the other Native's I'd have made them put the cake back and finish their cereal........this one....I just laughed.
