Making memories one day at a time.......and then I write about it.

I went under the knife. And here's the results.

Remember yesterday's post? Well..........

Fourteen inches were taken off and I was NOT able to donate to Locks of Love. Very sad. My mane stunk too bad and for some reason......Locks of Love doesn't want charred hair! Go figure. I would think charred hair would be the latest commodity. Guess not.

Thanks for staying with me to the tragic end of my mane story. I owe ya man! It just touches my heart how you stick with me through thick and thin!

The End.

  1. Don't let it change you - now with that flipping, easy-care, I'm a twenty-something hair - don't get wild and forget your responsibilities and become wanton. Do the boys still listen to you when you're mad? Because there's a risk they won't take you seriously anymore.

  2. OH MY FLIPPING HECK!!!!!

    1st: YOU ARE SOOOOOO CUTE.
2nd: I had NO IDEA you were going to cut your hair off or I would not have said: At least you didn't cut it all off!" (Foot in Mouth Disease)
3rd: I also can't believe you don't know the movie. Book. Either one. Try again and say it in a little girl voice:

"Joe (Rachel), YOUR ONE TRUE BEAUTY!"

And 4th: It isn't your one true beauty. You have great feet too. ;)

  3. YOU.ARE.HOT!!!
I realy love it Rachel! Very Posh (if you know what I mean. Think AI guest judge).

Tomorrow's coming quick & I don't know if i have the guts to go that short right now. I love to be able to pull it back and go, which comes in esp. handy for running...

    Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

  4. Wow!

You look hot for an old lady with a new doo!

Whats with the phony butt thing going on. Are you losing so much butt that you have temporary portable implants??

Shania said I have to disclose that this isn't Virginia or Shania for that matter.

  6. Please forgive me if it takes me a few months to be able to recognize you right off. Just like yesterday, "Why are Marcy and Karen talking in front of Rachel's house? - and where's Rachel? I can hear her voice???"

  7. I would be mourning the lost long hair, if she weren't so beautiful with the new short & sassy look.

  8. Kristen, I'm thinkin.....the red glaring eyes are the same. Hair or no hair. :)

Misty, OOOOOOHHHH! LITTLE WOMEN!!!!! Duh! Totally missed that one....PATHETIC!!! I was told yesterday I'd pulled an "Anne" moment from Anne of Greene Gables. I hadn't planned on cutting my hair either. I'd wanted to! But hadn't planned on it until yesterdays charring.

Natalie, :D Thank you!! Oh goody. I'm Posh!! I wanted to be Posh. :) Short=baseball caps. They go together. :D You don't have to go so short but go wild girl. It's just hair right? We're only young once. Someday I we're gonna be old, sittin' on the back row at church, with purple hair.

Kar/ I mean Anonymous, LOL! Butt implants! This comment is from Logan right? :D Thank you for the compliment. I think. :D

Jody, Actually. It is a lot harder to take care of. I was so lazy with my long hair. Wash throw goop in it and run. Now I actually have to 'DO' my hair. :0
    That part I don't like.

Alex, :) Back when I had short hair I did't have a straightener. Makes a biiiig difference as in short curly hair is BIG! :D So far I like it. It's fun. And you my dear, when you are 70 will look young and beautiful because you look so young now.

Kathy, That was funny. Cracked me up and the puzzled look on your face as you walked towards us. Very funny.

    Chastina, Thank you!!

SM, Really? You still think I'm beautiful? Admit it. It's the shoes isn't it? :P

Kristi, Thank you! Too bad you aren't closer. I'd have let you take your scissors to it!

  15. You look so cute!!! Are you missing your hair? Once you have long hair, it's hard to figure out what to do with short hair- lol :)

  16. Hanna, It is different isn't it? Yes, very odd to go from long to short but no, I'm not missing it. I'm enjoying the shorter hair. We'll see what I think tomorrow. But today, I like it.

  19. GORGEOUS!!! You look amazing! Not that I didn't love your long hair, but this looks fantastic--very flippy, youthful--you look around 20. Definitely not mother of a boy that's getting his driver's license.
