Grandma bought my baby a new suit to wear to church. (Yes, I realize sports socks do not go with a pin stripe suit but when you throw cow boy boots over the tops of em no one knows. I know this from personal experience! Sports socks do not go with dresses either.)
He was all excited......
until we put on the tie. He did NOT want to wear "dat ting".
Aw!! I love that look on his face, we get that all the time. The "I can't believe you are making me do this, you're the worst parents ever!!" look. It makes me laugh every time.
ReplyDeleteMax was like that about ties for a LONG long time, but now he wears them. But try to tuck in his shirt and you get that same look, the same tears. Tough to be small I guess. But I sure wish somebody would buy me new church clothes! I'd wear them, tie or no tie!
That child. Finicky, finicky, finicky. If he were a cat, he wouldn't eat dry food. If he were a cloud, and a weather sonar hit him, he'd hold in the rain and then dump it on china. I will never look at him cross-eyed again. I know he will never forget, and he will mistrust me all my life. Does he get this from your side of the family, or from the MM?
ReplyDeleteK- nothing negative EVER comes from my side of the family......shame on you for asking such a silly question!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so handsome! Although I don't blame him; I wouldn't want a tie "choking" me either.
ReplyDeleteI love that suit!!!!
