Always In Motion
I can't stand sitting still. I've noticed that this expresses itself in many areas of my life.
Yesterday when I went to pick up the eldest Native from school I noticed that the way back home had a bit of congested traffic. Note to self: Do NOT go back home the way you normally do. Find alternate route. Which I did, which took me way out of my way, which took me way longer to get home then if I'd sat in the congestion.
I'm okay with that because at least I was moving! As long as I am moving I'm okay with it taking longer to get home.
Fine print: These are seriously thee best Christmas presents from Santa he's ever given.
Even finer print: Even if they make my butt look huge and my thighs burn and my breath come out in asthmatic gasps...not that I have asthma......I'm just out of shape which is why I'm typing this really really small.

I agree with you about the moving thing. I loved December when there were Christmas lights because then the girls wouldn't complain so much when I just needed to drive. They made a game of finding lights. now, they are back to complaining.
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me smile today
Oh, ME TOO. ME TOO. I'll go six blocks out of my way to keep moving. I'd drive by way of NEVADA if I thought I'd have to wait at an intersection in Spanish Fork. I think the ball looks like great fun. How wonderful that it came on time.
ReplyDeleteForget the treadmill I'm gonna go buy me a hoppity horse!
ReplyDeleteI have trouble sitting to watch a movie anymore because I just can't sit still. Richard thinks I'm spastic (which I might be- just a little) or ADHD, I say I have MOM or WIFE disorder and there are just other things that need to be done.
I hear you on the driving. It drives my 16-year-old crazy when I'm letting him drive and I'll say, "It's red. Turn right." he would rather sit and wait.
ReplyDeleteThose balls look fun! If I get one the only time I'll be able to use it is when the kids are in school.
ReplyDeleteI also don't like waiting. When the roads are good, I dislike driving behind people who are going slower than the speed limit.
Denae, I'm with you on the Christmas lights. They make any drive more interesting. Growing up out in the boonies, night driving was horrendous because it was just you and your headlights so when ever we'd see random Christmas lights off in the distance it was like the Fourth of July! Totally exciting!
ReplyDeleteKristen, Levi has played on that thing non stop. Best present ever and I'm glad it came on time too!
Jody, Broccoli? Really? Can I have it in stir fry cuz I'll do it in stir fry!!
Natalie, I think it's mommy syndrome. You finally have time to yourself. I'm the same way. Especially after the kids have gone to bed. ME TIME! Snort....what ever THAT is... Fun seeing you today. I didn't recognize you at first with your bangs pulled back. Very Cute!!
Gerb, Oh yeah! That's me and I'm sure when my 16 year old starts driving here real soon I'll be driving him as crazy as I do The SM.
Chastina, The ball is actually Levi's. I just pounce on it every once in awhile because it looks and is so much dang fun!
oh man Max would LOVE those bouncy things. Our whole house would be one big mess because he would bounce around breaking and knocking over everything. He would love it!
ReplyDeleteGin, I'm telling you. Seriously, the best gift ever. The two babies absolutely love them!!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me???? If I tried that it would pop. And then my family would have filmed it and we'd get a ton of money of "AFH". Yireeekaaa. My answer to the lottery. Where can I get one of those????
ReplyDeleteVirginia, Sorry but no. It holds like up to 500 pounds or some such ridiculous number. We'll have to find something else for you to make your millions on. :D
ReplyDeleteI envy you greatly.....those balls look soooooo fun!!!
ReplyDeleteEmma, While the children are away......the mommy will play. :)
ReplyDeleteRach, I could tell you didn't recognize me and I laughed walking home still remembering the confused look on your face! I might just have to do that more often just for kicks!
ReplyDeleteThanks though, I was slightly self conscious with my "gotta-do someting-with-this-mop-on-my-head,-so-I-can-get-my-kids-to-school-so-I-can-come-home-and-run-before-I-shower" do.
Natalie, You hadn't showered? Seriously? You stink and I don't mean in a "I haven't showered so I stink" kind of way either because I thought you looked beutiful! So not right. Just aint right or fittin' cuz when I don't shower.......everyone knows!
ReplyDeleteAmen and Amen.
ReplyDeleteKathy, AND Amen!
