This is what we're gonna do.....

Because it's

And a holiday so The Natives are home from

I made The Natives this for breakfast

And because the skies look like this

We're gonna hunker down and I'm going to work some more on this

While we watch a bunch of this

Stuffing our faces with mega loads of this

And in between it all we're gonna make some more of these

Even though I said I was sick of them and didn't want to see another one after the gazillion we made at Christmas time because.....that was last year...and I'm allowed to change my mind......even if it changes as often as the weather around here.

  1. I am so depressed right now. I'm beginning to think I have that sun-deprivation thing. When the sun comes out, so does my courage and my energy levels seem to rise, too. But right now, I'm am so tired. And Skye is such a problem, and the puppies are in surgery to have their testosterone removed, which means sore, delicate puppies - and the rain, the gray, the freezing - and the filthy shower and kitchen, and the decisions to make. I just want to knit my silly little horses and watch story after story after story and eat food somebody sends to us - orange chicken and stake sandwiches and maybe even cheep fake Mexican food -

Do you still believe in Spring?

  2. any deliveries over here?? Tyler just return. Kids are almost back to San Antonio. Everyone is safe and sound. We drove to the airport this morning and there were 7+ accidents. It was scary. Im glad to have my manly driver back. I hate ice!

  3. Your day sounds SO much better than mine! I gave the kids cereal for breakfast, attempted to jog (ha!)2 miles, made PB&J for lunch and watched UP with the kids (why is that movie SO sad?!). I like the popcorn and cakeballs idea. Do you have some secret to making them quickly? Because mine take SOOOOO long! I suppose the day is still fairly young, though...

  4. Kristen, Why yes Kristen, I do believe in spring. I also believe in tanning beds when the sun is gone for so long. :D

Puppies with removal of testosterone and much delicateness will only last about oh.......a day. The same surgeries on humans that waylay us for weeks for an animal! No problem they say as they take it in big strides. As for poor Skye, bless his furry heart. You may be feeling depressed because of some decisions to come with him.......courage my friend. Take courage....the sun WILL come out. It always does.

Jody, No, cake balls means I get to sit and watch everyone else around me munch on them while I have a dang carrot!

Alex, You are the reason are you not that we're making these...... :) Glad everyone is safe and sound. Traffic was quite yucky today.

Sarah, Season three. I'll let you know how it is.

Gerb, It takes me forever and a day too which is why I always take several days to make them. One day to bake the cake....the next to mix and roll them...the next to dip them. :) Not a quick process but man alive they are good. It's all Mr. Z's fault. He's the one who introduced us to the darn things. We've just gone hog wild over here trying different ones. He started an epidemic. A cake ball epidemic!

  5. So is it really blame, or credit?

It looks like I've been at the wrong house all day...

  6. What a great idea! I'm thinking a warm tanning bed to get some rays maybe in order this week. Especially since it's suppose to be a stormy week. Diet is one of those four letter words that I wish I didn't have to think about.

  7. Mr. Z, I do believe blame and credit. One and the same. ;) And....you are welcome over here anyday. Family is always welcome.....Uncle Rush :D

Chastina, A tanning bed would be fabulous. It's been waaay too many months since I've gone to one. When the pain gets real bad I like to go and lay in one since heat seems to be the only thing that will reach it. Tanning beds and heating pads. Diet. It's a curse.

  10. MMM I want some of those! What's the recipe?
IS the Robin Hood show good? We're always looking for fun TV series to hunker down with while eating copious amounts of popcorn!
