Dejavu
Mr. C had two bunnies. A momma and her baby. Last week I posted this post. It was horrible. It was sad. It was devestating. And now this week....the same post could be posted.......for the baby bunny.........
Natalie, I think perhaps you are right. I could have seperated them long ago but they were so cute together snuggling all of the time and then to have the mommy all of a sudden gone....I'm afraid the baby just shut down.
Kristen, I hate this too. I hate it even more as I watch Mr. C barely able to take a few bites this morning for breakfast and then trudge off to school, head down, sliding one foot in front of the other, arms hanging down his sides..
Oh! So sad! Poor bunnies, and poor Mr. C. I am so sorry.
We had a similar situation with a couple of kittens around four or five years ago, and it was devastating. It took us a little while afterwards to find our perfect pets, but we finally did, and they are wonderful members of our family. Sometimes things just aren't meant to be, sadly.
Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Maybe that baby missed it's mommy too much?
Anyways, I'm feeling for you...Again.

ReplyDeletePoor C. This has just devestated him.
Rabbits are like that, from what I understand. Life and emotion seem so very connected with them -
ReplyDeleteI hate this.
My security word is hopirra.

OH! Heartbreak! I'm so so sorry. Poor Mr. C and his tender little heart.

Ginna, Poor Mr. C is right. And poor me. I let him sleep with me again last night. :D He slept....I didn't.
ReplyDeleteLori, Definetly not this time around. We'll give Mr. C some time to heal and then look into another pet adventure. Heaven help us all.......
